Another Milestone for Lucas Mill

 Whilst exploring the options for additional income, utilising existing tree resources on the farm.  There began the seeds of an idea to build a Sawmill.  This was the beginning of the Lucas Mill Portable Sawmill.

 Originally the Lucas Family believed they could have a successful Family Business, if they could target selling 50 Sawmills a year.  The Lucas Mill was an instant Success, with orders for 50 Machines in the first 6 weeks.  Today they manufacture nearly 900 sawmills a year and produce on an average 70 machines a month.

 Lucas Mill now Exports to over 70 Countries in 6 Continents.  Export Markets are continually growing with this years Exports accounting for approximately 75% of Sales and opening up new Markets into remote areas such as Bhutan and Yap Islands.  They are the largest Manufacturer of Swing Blade Sawmills in the World, with the Lion’s share of the Australian Market and a Significant Share Internationally.

They have now reached yet another Milestone by selling 5,000 Sawmills Worldwide.
